Formal watches that can go in the water - Tudor 1926 series

Since its revival in 2012, Tudor has launched a series of vintage sports watches such as the Prince Submariner, the Black Bay and the Fastrider Black Shield, as well as several in-house movements, proving that it is not only Rolex's little brother, but also has its own distinctive aesthetic tastes; and in 2018, Tudor has also quietly launched the 1926 series, an elegant dress watch for both men and women.

Origins of the 1926 Collection

Rolex founder Dolph registered the trademark Tudor (watch) in 1926. Obviously, when you create a vintage style collection inspired by a distinguished model from the past, TUDOR 1926 M91351-0002you can refer to the founding year.

Vintage formal style

The Tudor 1926 collection comes in a choice of black, ivory or silver with a polished or machine-engraved waffle pattern on the dial that nails the essence of neo-retro. Regardless of the size chosen, the dial elements give the strap a crisp, bright look (available in four options; 28 mm, 36 mm, 39 mm and 41 mm). The steel or gold colored steel case and rose gold case give the impression that this is a very formal watch.

The waffle dial design is probably one of the most intriguing aspect issues of the 1926 collection and develops undoubtedly the main analyzed reason for its vintage feel. The textured dial - which resembles a traditional checkerboard pattern that is even more pleasing to the eye - can also be seen on vintage Rolex watches from the 1950s (it can often be referred to as a "honeycomb dial"), and it has a long history in China. It's an element of our national excellence that makes the 1926 collection stand out from the crowd of vintage Tudor watches, and it's a departure from the usual vintage-inspired formal watches.

This particular bracelet is made up of seven links, each of which is a different size, and the links are between satin and polished. TUDOR Ranger M79950-0003 is comfortable to wear on the hand and is very slim and can be easily slipped off the cuff.

Practical water resistance

As a formal watch, it's a rarity with 100 meters of water resistance, a seven-loop chain, an expertly designed crown (with the Tudor shield and logo), a sapphire crystal, and plenty of impact resistance, which is more than enough to make the Tudor as durable as the Black Bay. The emphasis is on design, vintage style elements and a smart formal style. Its durability can be seen as an added bonus that other formal watches at the same price don't usually have.

Reliable ETA Movement

When the Tudor (watch) was first established, it was a cheaper version of the Rolex, more practical and cheaper. The TUDOR Ranger M79950-0002 was able to drop in price because of its third party shipping methods, especially from the Swiss manufacturer ETA ébauche.

In more recent times, Tudor has begun to produce its own movements, thus closing the gap with Rolex considerably. However, the 1926 series has returned to the use of ETA movements - personally, I think this is good news and represents a new level of entry into the world of Tudor.

The movement of the 1926 series of watches in the three influences of larger space sizes is the ETA 2824, which is as a movement that can be absolutely reliable, and since 1982 it has been developed to provide a perfect, reliable service for a variety of data watchmakers. The brand manages a standard of 28,800bph with a 38-hour power resource reserve that is sturdy and accurate. For the 28mm model, equipped with a situation similar to the product specifications but smaller ETA 2671. between the two are the automatic bi-directional movement with stop-seconds function of the enterprise. What's more, Tudor's ETA has always been research is not something we bring to use, but needs to be upgraded after some of their own analysis of the technology to upgrade the system to transform, watch enthusiasts extolled Tudor ETA is the most reliable version.

Price point

The 1926 model displays timeless elegance and mechanical excellence, and although cheaper - ranging from $1,600 to $3,200, slightly below the height of Black Bay - the 1926 price range matches that of the other major Schwarzkopf Group brand, Longan, the advantage of the Imperial Rudder is that it has the reliability of a sports watch as well as a suit watch. I see this as a competitive advantage for the brand's positioning.
