Injury Update: Anthony Castonzo and Denico Autry among those out for Colts week two Well Cheap Quenton Nelson Jersey , we have bad news on the Colts front, as it appears that starting left tackle Anthony Castonzo will not be ready to go against the Washington Redskins on Sunday after suffering what Frank Reich referred to as a minor setback.Another notable player who won’t be playing on Sunday is DT Denico Autry. Both these losses will sting. The Redskins have a brutal pass rush and the Colts were really counting on getting Castonzo back to help solidify the offensive line. There were some very good performances by the line against a good Bengals pass rush, but the loss of J’Marcus Webb on the right side hurts too, and now they’ll have to prove they can overcome adversity and string together a couple of these quality efforts as a group yet again. They certainly won’t get a break from the Redskins.Denico Autry’s loss is a big blow as well, because the Redskins absolutely killed the Cardinals on the ground, and the Colts will need their defensive line to play out of their minds to limit the run and get the Redskins’ offense off the field. Also missing Sunday’s game, although less surprising, are CB Chris Milton who is in concussion protocol, and tackle Denzelle Good. This leaves the team a bit thin Nate Hairston Jersey , especially at tackle. They’ll need Joe Haeg and Le’Raven Clark to have great performances, and most importantly, to stay healthy. One positive note that bodes well for the team is that Marlon Mack has reportedly looked good in practice and Reich said there is definitely a possibility that he will play on Sunday. If healthy, Mack is a major difference maker for the offense, and gives the Colts a home run threat in the short passing game. They’ll need that because the offensive line will be under siege most of the game, and Andrew Luck won’t do well if they are calling a lot of 5-7 step drops. Week one saw a creative offensive game plan from Reich, and I expect we will see more of the same for week two. It had better be, because this could be a rough week to be Andrew Luck. Update: With the release of the official injury report, the Colts have added in that safety Clayton Geathers did not practice today and is questionable to play on Sunday. Also Cheap Joe Haeg Jersey , linebacker Anthony Walker was limited in practice and is also listed as questionable. Frank Reich announced some unpleasant, but not totally unexpected news today. Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) and Jack Doyle (hip) have been officially ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. Additionally, Joe Haeg (ankle), Hassan Ridgeway (calf), and Quincy Wilson (concussion) were ruled out. Notably, running back Marlon Mack was not on this list, and will be a game time decision after struggling with a hamstring injury that has lingered. Tarell Basham, who was a healthy scratch and missed earlier in the week due to the birth of his child, has been back in practice as well as Denico Autry who has struggled with an ankle injury. Both could be active for Sunday. Castonzo has been steadily improving Cheap Darius Leonard Jersey , having strung several practices together now as he tries to work back from his hamstring injury that has hampered his offseason and has caused him to miss 4 games now. The Colts might think he is on the brink of being ready and would prefer to err on the side of caution since bringing him back too quickly resulted in a setback last time. Haeg is viewed as having a few more weeks before he can return after an ankle injury sidelined him. Jack Doyle is another who is still supposedly a couple weeks away, and whose absence will certainly be felt. In the red zone and in pass blocking, the Colts missed Doyle dearly against the Eagles. Without these guys able to play, expect more of the short passing game to be integrated into the game. The Colts don’t want Andrew Luck getting hit, and the game plan has been pretty clearly geared toward preventing that, with Luck getting the ball out quickly and not taking a ton of shots deep downfield. They will have to air it out some if they want to start winning games, but until Castonzo is back, I don’t expect them to do much of it.
