When Path of Exile launches the Betrayal league in December, it's going to be the game's biggest that you date. Players sets off with an adventure that may see them uncovering members on the Immortal Syndicate and targeting them for POE Currency assassination. But it's greater simple "find and kill" adventure, but one that has twists and turns, alliances and broken friendships all with respect to finding the Syndicate's leader.

Players will see up with a fresh Master named Jun Ortoi who's going to be investigating the Immortal Syndicate, a closed society group of villains who literally hold management of death. In fact, together with the POE Exalted Orb Syndicate, dead isn't just dead.

Ultimately, the prize is learning the actual head with the Syndicate, but for getting there will require investigative skills, fighting numerous monsters, assassination as well as the interrogation of members to squeeze them at as much information as it can be.
