Times Square - A Site visitor's Overview

Times Square was previously called Longacre Square; in 1904 it expanded to become known as Times Square forever. It is commonly disputed regarding whether it was at the bidding process of New York Times owner Alfred Ochs when the New York Times headquarters were created or whether the proprietors of the independently possessed subways in the vicinity made the switch come about.
