My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't desire to change blankets so I chose to try other methods. Here is what I attempted and what appeared to work for me.
Warmer pajamas: I am used to using shorts and a t-shirt to bed. Or, often, I'll wear a sexy camisole for my other half and I to take pleasure in. This winter, I attempted using long sleeve pajamas. I really tried various kinds. Initially, I tried the flannel pajamas. They were exceptionally warm and I felt excellent all night. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket against my body - something that I truly take pleasure in. Likewise, I didn't feel as appealing going to bed, something that I like to feel also, particularly with my spouse sleeping beside me. Next, I attempted wearing these silk pajamas. They certainly felt soft to the touch, but weren't as warm as the flannel. It still worked much better than a camisole or shorts and a tee shirt.
Heated blanket: Although I like my blankets, I decided to add a heated blanket beneath them simply for my body. The heated blanket worked too well.
Of course, you don't have to purchase these socks and you can constantly simply wear any set of cotton socks to bed, however these are made specifically to keep your feet warm all night. I actually attempted mattress warmer wearing these with my shorts and t-shirt and discovered that it made a big difference in how warm I felt. Of course using socks to bed felt a little foreign to me at first, but ultimately I got utilized to it.
