Renovating the Home of the Founders Parkway

The Founders Parkway is one of the most loved areas of Las Vegas. It is situated in between Southwestern Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard, it's a quick drive to the famous Las Vegas Strip. The Founders Parkway's paving design is unique in that it is similar to other public works that are located in Las Vegas. The entryway to the parkway is a stone bench which is set between two pillars of stone. The bench, however, is rectangular in design rather than the usual circular shape, like the other parksways found in Las Vegas. Concrete was used along the perimeter to create a assortment of fascinating patterns. In total, the concrete patio has six different patterns of concrete.

Two of the concrete pavers featured in the design are concrete tabs. The concrete tabs feature an identical design to the Las Vegas concrete patio. The concrete that is used to design the Castle Rock section of the paver is colored so that it blend in with the surrounding landscape. The concrete, however, isn't overwhelming to diminish the natural beauty of the area.

The other three concrete parts of the design are formed from large rock shapes. Each of these massive rock forms is colored in order to make them stand out from the concrete. The concrete used in this section of the project has been colored red to distinguish it from other concrete sections that are located around the parkway. In all, the concrete design has a total of 11 distinct colors. Through the use of so many colours, designers have made the Parkway feel like a totally distinct place unlike the other development.

The replacement of concrete ramps and sidewalks at base level with granite pavement was a major improvement to the development of Castle Rock's part of the Las Vegas Strip. The distinctive pattern of color of these pavers blends well into the surrounding area. The granite pavers feature an exclusive color pattern that blends in with the surrounding. It also makes it more accessible for pedestrians to navigate and give driveways an even more comfortable feel in rain.

Another modification to the layout of the Las Vegas Strip comes in the shape of covered walkways. This walkway is designed to help residents avoid falling on the exposed root of the tree-lined beach. This design can also help prevent erosion by allowing rainwater to flow into the ocean. Because the concrete on the walkway is in the soil, there is no need for concrete sealant applied to the surface. Instead, the pavers feature a specific waterproof material that's thermally and slip-resistant.
