2K22 has reintroduced its tried-and-true shot meter

Offensively, shooting can feel somewhat more difficult, but this is mostly due to the improved defense and not the mechanisms of the shot meter. The passing ability is phenomenal on this one. Handling the ball feels smooth. The gameplay has really just been enjoyable during the short days that the game has been played.

2K22 has reintroduced its tried-and-true shot meter after the year's drastic change to the polarization of the game, and it feels like in general , I'm taking more open shots in the beginning of my character's development than I did in previous years. It's a bit gruelling to be an NBA player and be bricking shots all the time but I'm thinking that even the less-rated players can be useful this time around.

I think they've found something in their game they should lean into. I'd prefer they'd tap into rather than offering us all of these gimmicky sponsored missions and side-missions on MyCareer. Why is State Farm in this game? Are I paying for insurance? What's the reason why MyPlayer seem to be more excited about basketball than rapping?

They're fine in spots -- well, but not for the State Farm thing. That's completely bizarre. But rapping, fashion sneaker endorsements and everything else are all part of the game in a variety of spots. The game should be a little less about the things mentioned above and more focused on the thrilling basketball game we're playing.

it's me, Mike. Everything in 2K22 beyond actual in-game action merely distracts from what the game does best. As someone who doesn't really enjoy playing ball in The City at all, I'd even declare that I'd like it splitting the modes entirely. It's not a prudent business decision However, it's likely to never be happening.
