오는 11월 20일부터 양주시 회천3동 지역사회보장협의체 공동위원장 박**씨는 ‘스마일 드림 치과 치료비 지원’ 사업을 본격 추진하며 이번 사업은 작년 10월 경기사회복지공동모금회 연합모금 사업을 통해 마련된 의정부 치아교정 모금액 300만원을 재원으로 진행한다고 밝혀졌다.
지원대상은 치아 손상으로 일상생활에 불편을 겪거나 치료비가 부담돼 치과치료를 받지 못하고 있는 기준중위소득 90%이하인 관내 만61세 미만 주민 이고, 지원 내용은 임플란트 치유비이며 1인당 최대 1백만원까지라고 했다.
사업은 예산 소진 시까지 지원하며 신청방법 등 기타 자세한 사항은 양주시 회천3동 행정복지센터 맞춤형복지팀으로 문의하면 안내 받게된다고 전했다.
위원장 A씨는 “요번 사업을 통해 중장년 저소득 가구의 의료비 부담이 조금이나마 해소되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 주민들의 복지 수요에 맞는 맞춤형 특화사업을 적극 추진하겠다”고 이야기 했다.
박혜련 동장은 “지역지역민이 건강하게 생활할 수 있게 치과 진료사업에 적극 지원해 준 협의체 회원들에게 감사하다”며 “치료비 부담으로 처치를 미뤄왔던 주민들이 이번 사업을 통해 적절한 요법을 받길 바란다”고 전했다.
