Columnists have been writing throughout the summer about what is wrong with the current landscape of college football. They have told us that the NCAA football championship is a farce, that players are being paid under the table at major universities to play football, and coaches are throwing good college kids under the bus to further their careers. While many of these accusations are true, especially about the national championship game being a joke, it still doesn't hurt the game of Division I football. Why is that?

Yet another well known football player of all times is Zinedine Zidane. This player is said to be 1 of the most talented soccer players of his generation. He played a big role in making France win the world Cup in 1998. Furthermore, he contributed to the victory of France in European championship of 2000. He has been awarded with the title of European Footballer of the Year in 1998. To top it all, he was the indisputable winner of the title- FIFA World Footballer of the Year, thrice in 1998, 2000 and 2003.

Cheat Sheet - You need to arm yourself with a cheatsheet to have during your league's draft. A cheat sheet is a list of players, usually ranked by position or importance, that you as an owner want to draft. As players are selected, be sure to cross them off your cheat sheet so you can be ready with your next pick when your turn comes around. Before your draft, research the players you are interested in drafting and arrange them in the order that you want to select them, and use that as a guide during your draft.

Basically, you want to be a little tired, then have to move your feet quickly while putting a big weight overhead. You'll be tired in your games, so don't you think it would make sense to train agility-building movements while tired?

Sandbags caught some attention when Dinosaur Training was published. However, simply filling a duffelbag with dirt left a lot to be desired. They ripped, leaked sand and simply fell apart with rough use. football players, as a whole, are not known for being nice to training equipment.

Movements have to be quick, and players have to learn how to move the ball fast. In Spanish football, the ball is your friend. Players learn how to take care of the way that they strike the ball!

The next phase is our max strength phase. For most football players this won't hit until about late April -July. This gives us 3 solid months to get flat out stronger. The final phase is a reactive/plyometric phase were we take this new strength and learn to apply it explosively. This model has us performing at our best during the most good football players important time of the year: the start of the season.
