Arena Ciudad de Mexico, also referred to as Mexico City Arena, is an indoor arena in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico, and is predominantly used for athletic events and festivals. The construction work to construct the indoor arena began on 18th of March 2009 and was opened to the general public on 25th of February after a period of two years. The entire construction cost to build the stadium was USD 300 million. With a whole capacity of 22,300, it was built from the KMD Architects and the AVALANZ group. Zignia Live functions the arena. It's two heliports (45 meters high) and a parking lot that can hold up to 5,000 cars, 124 luxury suites, 850 LCD displays, and 650 security cameras. NBA has voiced a desire to have a team in Mexico, especially in this arena.
