The Discovered - Currently Not Indexed status means that Google knows these URLs, but hasn't crawled them yet (and therefore hasn't indexed them).
If you are running a small website (less than 10,000 pages) with good quality content, this URL status will automatically resolve after Google has crawled the URLs.
If you are running a small website and you still get this status for new pages, please rate the quality of your content; it could be that Google doesn't think it's worth your time.
What's confusing about this status is that any content quality issue isn't limited to the URLs listed, it could be a site-wide issue.

What causes this state?
If you encounter this problem on larger websites (10,000+ pages), this may be due to:
- Server overloaded: Google was having trouble crawling your site because it seemed to be overloaded. Check with your hosting provider if this is the case.
- Content overload: Your website contains much more content than Google is willing to crawl right now. They think it is not worth their time. Examples of content that conforms to this bill: filtered product category pages, auto-generated content, and user-generated content. You can work around this by removing the content, making the content more unique if you want Google to crawl and index it, or by removing the links and updating your robots.txt file to prevent Google from accessing these URLs if it finds Google. you're discovering content that they shouldn't.
- Poor internal link structure: Google can't find enough ways to access content that still needs to be crawled. This can be solved by improving the structure of internal links.
- Low content quality: Improve the quality of your content. Create content that is unique and adds value to your visitors. Satisfy your user intent. Give them what they want. Help them solve problems.
Note that numbers 1 and 2 are classic examples of crawl budget problems. Especially for larger websites, this is an area of concern.
