Do you enjoy traveling? The Advantages Are Incalculable!

The number of people with access to airline travel has made the world's great cities more accessible. In addition, because of the growing number of low-cost airlines, competition is driving down prices, and with so many great deals available, it has never been cheaper to travel! Visiting a foreign country exposes you to what exists outside your bubble and how others live. I enjoy traveling because it broadens your horizons, provides a well-deserved break from your routine, and can be a life-changing experience.

Leave your worries at home.

Traveling allows you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine for a short period. Getting away will enable you to focus on yourself and gain perspective. We all have things in our lives that we are concerned about; getting away from it provides clarity; if the issue is not going to make a difference in your life, it is not worth dwelling on.

"We travel not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping us." - Unknown.
Recharge, revitalize, and revitalize!

It's an opportunity to unwind and do only what you want. You are free to spend the entire day in the sun! It's a fantastic stress reliever, an opportunity to return recharged, re-energized, and revitalized, ready to return to your routine, fully charged and motivated.

Learn and broaden your horizons.

This is one of the main reasons I enjoy traveling. Nothing a book or TV show can tell or show you compares to being there and experiencing the moment firsthand. I'd seen pictures of Mexico's ancient temples, but seeing it, feeling it, and climbing to the top of that thing takes it to a new level! While taking in the breathtaking scenery, you realize how wonderful and magnificent life is and that any problems you think you have are just a drop in a vast ocean. You get to try foods you've never heard of, navigate unfamiliar territory, and meet people you'd never meet otherwise. You develop your personality as you learn something new in each location you visit; it is truly the best education (in my opinion!)

"Traveling a road teaches you more about it than all the conjectures and descriptions in the world." - Hazlitt, William.

Take more risks.

I wouldn't say I'm the first of my friends to suggest trying something new at home, but when you're away from home, you're forced to try new things because there may never be another chance! So you step outside your comfort zone and become more adventurous, doing things you never knew existed, such as volcano boarding, which I had never heard of until I visited Nicaragua in Central America. You never know; you might discover a new passion or career!

"Those who do not travel read only a page of the world." St. Augustine
Improve your appreciation and focus.

Seeing different social classes makes you more grateful and blessed for what you have, not just because you have more than them but because you realize it is the little things in life that matter. Many locals you meet have few possessions but live lives full of abundance, love, and happiness. You also become more explicit about what you want and don't want in your life.

"Travel light if you want to go far and fast." Remove your envy, jealousy, unforgiveness, selfishness, and fears." Cesare Pavese's

Lifetime memories

Experiences stick with you; your emotions can shift instantly just thinking about that experience or location. When you travel with others, you form a special bond with them; these are the times you will never forget and the special moments you will share for the rest of your lives.

"Life is measured not by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away."

I've traveled extensively, from a few days in Europe to months in Central America. I've stayed in high-end hotels and backpacked and slumbered in hostels. I've scuba dived in Thailand's blue seas and snowboarded down the Alps' mountains. Yet, I don't believe there is another experience that will teach you as much about yourself or others. You meet so many different people from different cultures, giving you a whole new perspective on life. I enjoy adventure and exposure to a world outside my own.

Everyone should take the time to travel around the world occasionally; the benefits are priceless. You will be enriched on so many levels, you will broaden your mind and build a libraryof new experiences, and you will thank yourself for it in the future.
