Christmas is the busiest period on NSW's roads. Drivers travel across Sydney and suburban areas to visit their loved ones and make new friends. Let's show our drivers that we are experienced and safe drivers by following speed limits. RTA and Driving Schools are continuing to educate people on speeding. It is a major problem on NSW and Sydney roads. Last year, 10 deaths occurred in NSW. Nearly 533 people were injured during Christmas Holidays.
You should also know that there are approximately 1400 rest zones in NSW. Drivers should make a stop at least every two hours for periodic rests. This will ensure your family's safety as well as your comfort while driving. You should make it a habit for long drives. You'll see many warnings and signs about STOP/REVIVE/SURVIVE. This will help keep your holiday season safe and secure for you, your family, commuters, and others. These alerts are there for a reason. It is for your protection. Double demerits will be in effect from Midnight, Thursday 23/12/13 to Midnight Monday 3/11/13. Please do not leave your Driving License behind.
Onroad Driving School offers Driving Lessons to all students. However, we are very strict about speeding. Driving lessons are given in a way that allows students the opportunity to learn how to judge themselves in stressful situations. So they can be ready for decisions and can pass the RTA driving tests and have a secure future for themselves and their passengers.
As a Driving Instructor, I can tell you that these 5 points are crucial in serious accidents.

• Don't drink & Drive
• No over-speeding
• Every 2 hours, you can stop, revive and survive.
• Seatbelts ON. All the time
• Take responsibility and be aware of aggressive drivers.
