Federico Gutierrez managed to reach the official candidacy of the center-right with more than 1.7 million votes, the ex-mayor of Medellin, won Barguil, Char, Penalosa as well as the tab for the los Cristianos, Aydee Lizarazo.

Federico Gutierrez, a former mayor of Medellin was born in Medellin in 1974. Since 2003, he's been a youth councilor for the city and a Municipal Planning Councilor in Medellin.
