Baggage

American Airlines Baggage policy has been set, so that you can carry your essential stuff along with you where ever you go. So under the American Airlines baggage policy, passengers can carry-on luggage in the cabin, or some baggage sends it as a checked bag in the baggage hold of aircraft, i.e your baggage will be flying along with you just in other compartments of the same aircraft.

Passengers

So passengers flying in American Airlines flight have been categorized on the basis of age. And according to the age limits, passengers were served accordingly. Furthermore, document proof for flight booking is also done according to the type of age.

Adult Passengers

The passenger whose age is 12 years or 12+ is considered to be in the adult category.

Though the age group from 12 to 14 years should be accommodated with some elderly person whose age must be 16 years old at least. Or if they are traveling alone then they wolf be considered Unaccompanied Minors.

Children Passengers

Age from 2 to 11 years is considered to be children passengers of American Airlines flight.

As of age 5 years or less, they are not permitted to fly alone in any case and will not even consider Unaccompanied Minors. There should travel along with an adult whose age is a minimum of 16 years old.

But passengers on age above 5 but up to 11 years old either have to travel along with adults of least 16 years or can travel alone under Unaccompanied Minors.

Infants as passenger

Passengers who are just born bay or up to 2 years old are considered to be infants by American Airlines, and they do not need booking for seat allocation. Though if you are carrying your infant in a baby car seat, then you have to book a flight seat as a children passenger.
