There are many sites in Delhi that get regular visits from tourists. But if we are talking about the top 5 then, Here’s the list of top 5 most visited sightseeings in Delhi -

1. Red Fort -

It is a place which is always crowded and is a very famous place in Delhi. Near Red Fort is the Chandni Chowk market which is very famous among tourists who love shopping. You can also visit the Jama Masjid one of the largest Mosques. The places are always crowded and overcrowded during festivals.

2. India Gate -

A war memorial dedicated to the freedom fighters who lost their lives fighting the British Army during the 1st World War. You can see this place is always filled with visitors taking Photos and Selfies.

3. Qutub Minar -

Built during the Muslim rule in India. This is the tallest minaret in the world built using bricks. It is a major tourist attraction and it also gets regular visits from tourists. Also, the Iron Pillar in the Qutub Complex which is famous for its ability to resist corrosion.

4. Lotus Temple -

It is a Baháʼí House of Worship and belongs to the Bahai faith. It is a Bahai temple is commonly called Lotus temple due to its shape which is similar to Lotus Flower. The temple welcomes everybody there is no restriction for any religion.

5. Humayun Tomb -

Located in the Nizammudin East area the tomb houses the body of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. Built by the Mughals the tomb is a great example of the Mughal architect. The tomb looks a bit similar to the Taj Mahal.
