Forget navien mate bed warmer: 10 Reasons Why You No Longer Need It

My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't desire to alter blankets so I decided to attempt other ways. Here is what I attempted and what appeared to work for me.

Warmer pajamas: I am utilized to using shorts and a t-shirt to bed. Or, often, I'll use a sexy camisole for my other half and I to enjoy. This winter, I attempted using long sleeve pajamas. I in fact attempted various kinds. I attempted the flannel pajamas. They were extremely warm and I felt great all night. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket versus my body - something that I actually delight in. Also, I didn't feel as appealing going to bed, something that I like to feel as well, especially with my hubby sleeping beside me. Next, I attempted wearing these silk pajamas. They certainly felt soft to the touch, but weren't as warm as the flannel. It mattress pad warmer still worked much better than a camisole or shorts and a tee shirt.

Heated blanket: Although I enjoy my blankets, I chose to add a heated blanket beneath them just for my body. The heated blanket worked too well. While this alternative was great, I decided I would just utilize it for times when I am resting on the couch and reading and require some additional warmth. I'm keeping the blanket, however am not going to use it to go to sleep.

Cashmere bed socks: This was another alternative recommended to me by a good friend. Initially, when she mentioned it, I had no idea what cashmere bed socks were. I learned that they are specific socks that you can purchase to wear to bed. Of course, you do not need to purchase these socks and you can always simply use any pair of cotton socks to bed, but these are made specifically to keep your feet warm all night. I in fact tried wearing these with my shorts and tee shirt and discovered that it made a substantial distinction in how warm I felt. Remarkably, these worked actually well and I didn't have to fear a fire or change what I generally wore. Of course using socks to bed felt a little foreign to me at first, however eventually I got used to it.
