Gamers trade a 100-pound library of video games

A PlayStation enthusiast recently exchanged his enormous game collection, which weighed more than 100 pounds. There are PS1, PS2, and PS3 games in the collection. Older video game classics, cult favourites, AAA blockbusters, and everything in between are all included.

On December 3, 1994, Sony debuted the original PlayStation in Japan, marking the company’s entry into the console game market. The following year, it was made available abroad. Although many PS1 titles were sold for $40 to $52 at retail, sealed copies can occasionally fetch hundreds of dollars. Even less-than-perfect versions of some video games might still bring you a decent profit at the proper auction.

Even though prices might change, one recent trade-in should be commended for the huge quantity of games it contained. A TikToker and YouTuber named Dennis Collects who sells video games on eBay also shares some remarkable trades on his social media channels. Dennis just received more than 200 PlayStation games from a fan, which makes it the largest trade-in he has ever received.

The massive collection, which weighed more than 100 pounds overall and comprised PlayStation consoles from three eras. The video games were sent in excellent condition, in their original boxes or jewel cases, with all of the accompanying manuals. Another Dennis Collects fan sold off their PlayStation system collection.

Dennis Collects noticed a few standout games as he went through the boxes. Mega Man X, venerable PS2 games like God Hand, and classic JRPGs like Legend of Mana and Breath of Fire 3 are among these games. There are also a tonne of other games on the screen, including Parasite Eve, Spyro: Dawn of the Dragons, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Angry Birds: Star Wars, Assassin’s Creed, Battlefield 3, Medi Evil 2, Fallout 3, White Knight Chronicles, Killzone 2, and Dante’s Inferno. Although it’s tough to gauge the games’ worth, the collection is nonetheless quite vast.

It is unknown what Dennis Collects received in exchange for this incredible collection of PlayStation games. Up a previous video, another fan traded in his collection of vintage Nintendo cartridges for a new Switch and a copy of Luigi’s Mansion 3. However, the TikToker and game seller refused to say what he received in return for the big PlayStation collection. Dennis Collects answered a TikTok commenter’s query with a presumably sarcastic three bucks.

Whatever the case, simply taking a look at this massive gaming collection is mind-blowing, and Dennis Collects advised him to think about producing a second video exhibiting more games. However, the TikToker and YouTuber haven’t yet done it.
