While I enjoy the game, I have to very cautiously recommend this game. It serves well as a single player experience as a shooter metroidy type game. However if you're going into this game looking for a co-op experience this one will leave you a bit disatisfied. The 2nd player really feels like it was tagged on as an afterthought, where their life is totally expendable and they don't feel like an equal to player 1 at all. They can die, and then just res back in with full hp. It kinda ruins the challenge of the game since its so easy to abuse this, which is such a shame as I was really hyped to see a game brining lots of elements that i like together in a sweet and fun looking package. I could see this being a decent game if you have a child (or someone who's bad at games) you want to play with as the 2nd player could just be your tag along without really ruining the experience for you.. Welp, that satisfied my Run'N' Gun rage! The areas are well designed, the gameplay is fluid( which makes quite the difference between a good Run 'N' Gun and a mediocre one!) and above all else, CO-OP!!. It's such an energetic game. A joy. A festival of visual pleasures. A gameplay only possible in videogames. A overjoyed explosion of all the senses. A continuous adrenaline pump in your brain. An emotion ride. An homage to all great 80s and 90s action movies. The best share experience, that you can have with your pants on. A mind field of dreams. It's a game, that I can proudly call, "a game!" I like Greedy Guns.. For 3 guys making the game the scope is big GG dudes Easy to learn hard to master greedy guns is an exelent game that show us this beatiful art and retro style. The music is overthetop gg. Gameplay and lvl design wise its stupendus and the more you go into the harder it gets. I would like a shadow beneath the character and that first level needs some more artistic look because is bad comparable with the rest os the game and for new players may be bad to hook them up.. I backed this game on Kickstarter and I don't regret it one bit! Really fun mix between metroidvania-style exploration and action packed games like metal slug. The pacing is great, the art style is really good too and they even threw in co-op multiplayer! The game can get really hard as you progress but it never becomes less fun! Best played with a controller in my opinion.

v1.01 update : First but surely not the last update! New update - difficulty selection feature : Greedy Gunss new feature is the most popular request from our players. Turns out some of us dont have the same availability we used to have back in our early gaming years. We just dont have the time to perfect every move, to memorize each pattern, to pay every bill on time (not sure about the last one). So now Greedy Guns comes with a DIFFICULTY SELECTION screen! Yep, youll now get to choose whether you want it EASY (in case you are playing with the kids of course), NORMAL (as we played it and created it), HARD (if you like getting pummeled only to rise up just like Rocky). You can select difficulty on game start and DURING the game! So dial it down a bit if you need too or crank it up if thats your thing.. v1.05 update : Good news everyone!
