Hoboken Roofing, New Jersey is considered part of the New York metropolitan area. It lies on the Hudson River with Weehawken and Union City to the north and Jersey City to the south and west. Directly across the Hudson River in Manhattan are the Chelsea and West Village neighborhoods.

Residential neighborhoods in Hoboken include Downtown, Midtown, Uptown, Castle Point, Hoboken Terminal, and Hudson Tea. The Northwest section of Hoboken had served as the industrial area, but it is now turning around to become residential as well. The main commercial area in Hoboken is Washington Street, which runs all the way from Hoboken Terminal to the Uptown Weehawken border. Washington Street is full of restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries.

Hoboken is a fairly small city; it is nicknamed 'The Mile Square' because it is literally that size. Transportation to Manhattan from Hoboken is incredibly convenient. Hoboken Terminal is a major transportation hub and provides access to the PATH trains running to Lower and Midtown Manhattan, ferries crossing the river to 14th Street, Battery Park, Wall Street-Pier 11, and the West Midtown Ferry. NJ Transit runs out of Hoboken Terminal, providing access all over New Jersey, and finally there is the Light Rail, an above ground train running through Hudson and Bergen counties.

In recent years, more young people and artists are moving to Hoboken to enjoy the relatively cheaper housing, fantastic views of New York and vast array of nightlife.

Bahama Mamas on Washington Street is a favorite among locals for its No Cover Thursdays. Drinks at Bahama Mama's are always cheap, the DJs are fresh and the tiki-hut decor is fun, especially in the middle of winter.

Mile Square is another great spot if you're on the prowl for a good time. They have a wide range of beer, famously good macaroni and cheese and a pool table for any interested sharks. Their all you can eat brunch is another big draw for hungry locals on weekends.

Black Bear Bar and Grill is the sports lover's dream. They've got a ton of beers on tap, televisions on the wall, and the wings and burgers keep customers smiling.

For an upscale night of dancing, head down to the river and check out Teak on the Hudson. The atmosphere is classy, the sushi is tasty, the music is loud and the crowd is dressed to impress. The Cage on Newark Street is another hot spot for a night of dancing. It is a gay bar but friendly to everyone, and nobody leaves without feeling a little brighter.

Foodies won't want to miss La Isla Restaurant with its tasty mix of Cuban and Caribbean cuisine. Don't leave dinner without trying the tender meat, and come back to brunch for the stuffed French toast.
