If you've been using Bitdefender antivirus software on your PC I'll explain how you can stop or deactivate the irritating alerts.

I've used Bitdefender Total Security since many years, and have found it to be excellent in comparison to other antivirus programs.

One of the most crucial aspects to consider when purchasing an antivirus program is the performance of the program. Many users are unhappy with the performance of their system following the installation of antivirus.

In my experience, the full security software is very well-optimized and won't slow down your computer in any way. Bitdefender isn't slowing down your PC like other programs and I really love all the features it has to offer.

Recently, I was able to see numerous notifications generated by Bitdefender and I wanted to stop Bitdefender antivirus popups. The notifications pop up every time I start an application like Microsoft applications, browsers, office software, and so on.

The extremely irritating pop-ups started appearing a couple of days ago, possibly following an updates. It was really distracting me from working. It's popping up each few minutesor few seconds in certain cases.

Additionally, I observed the Bitdefender special offers notification, which were not relevant since I've bought the license for 3 years.

I've also observed numerous people complaining of the profile notification appearing on their computer. The fix for the notifications for the work profile is to

Go to the Settings menu > Profiles > de-check"Activate profiles automatically" "Activate profiles automatically".

How to Disable Bitdefender Notifications and Pop Ups

You can deactivate the Bitdefender notifications by following these steps.

Start to launch the Bitdefender anti-virus as well as the Total Security tool.
Select Settings and then click on the General tab.
Turn off the Special Offers and Recommended Notifications.

As a default, when installing Bitdefender antivirus, by default Bitdefender antivirus, the following two options are either enabled or enabled by default.

Special Offers: This displays in-product announcements with special offers that are specifically tailored for customers

Recommended notifications: Shows on-screen suggestions regarding security features that users should know about.

When you have disabled the previous two options, I've not been receiving these Bitdefender alerts while working. Since a large number of users are having reported this issue I'm hoping that the Bitdefender customer support team will be able to fix it in the coming update.
