Step 1: Go to Silhouette Studio
As you know, Silhouette Studio is a software to design your projects. So, the first step is to open it to create the design for your vinyl stickers. However, if your machine is not setup yet, then you will have to download this to run the machine.

Step 2: Page Setup
In this step, you are required to setup the page to make it equal to the size of the vinyl you are cutting. Usually, the vinyl is 12” wide. The height relies on the amount of cutting. Also, this process doesn’t need a cutting mat to cut your vinyl. You can easily modify the height. If you are cutting a few labels, a small amount of vinyl will be sufficient.

Step 3: Add Text
Once you setup the page, move to add the text. First, click the letter “A” button on the right side of Silhouette Studio. Then, type anything you want. Adjust the text font and size as you want. You can download your favorite fonts from different websites.

Step 4: Cut Vinyl Stickers
Once you are satisfied with the size, text, fonts, and labels, you are ready to cut. But before starting cutting, make sure that the cut lines are correctly setup. If your design is outside the cut lines, the Cameo 4 will not cut that part of the vinyl. When you see that all the words are all ready to cut, you can send your design to Silhouette.

Now, insert the vinyl into Silhouette Cameo 4. In the Cameo 4, a holder is present to keep the vinyl in place. Also, the Cameo 4 comes with a sensor to cut vinyl in the Silhouette Studio. Therefore, you don’t need to adjust the blades. As the Cameo 4 comes with automatic blades, they set the settings according to the material you insert.

Step 5: Stick To Surfaces
When you are done with cutting labels, take off the vinyl from Silhouette by pressing the remove button. After that, cut each label individually with scissors. Then, peel off the vinyl around the labels and use tweezers to remove the vinyl leftovers stuck in the middle of some letters.

After that, use the transfer paper to stick the vinyl label to the surfaces. First, peel the transfer paper and stick it over the top of the label. Now, rub the label and peel off the backing of the label. Finally, you made a sticker to put onto a smooth surface.
