How to Maximize the Performance of Your Hot Boxes?

Winter is a difficult season for hot cases products. Always preheat your units for Heatbox lunchbox in one of the following ways:

Close the door for 20 minutes after inserting a hot water pan into the bottom rails of your unit. Remove the pan. Load up on hot food. Close the door quickly.

Heatbox lunch boxes should be heated in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes before being inserted into the bottom rail of your unit.

For 20 minutes, close the door. Load up on hot food. Close the door quickly.

Always pre-chill your units for cold holding in one of the following ways:

Close the door for 20 minutes after inserting an icy cold water pan into the bottom rails of your unit. Remove the pan. Load up on cold food. Close the door quickly.

If possible, place the entire carrier in your walk-in or freezer with the door open for as long as possible, preferably overnight.

Freeze a heat box lunch box overnight and slide it onto your unit's top rail. For 20 minutes, close the door. Load up on cold food. Close the door quickly.

Steps 1 or 2 can be combined with step 3 to increase the cold holding time of your food beyond 4 hours.
