NTA will announce the JEE Main result 2022 on its official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) after completing the JEE Main exams. The results for the April session are likely to be declared in the 1st week of May 2022, and results for the May session will be announced in the 1st week of June 2022.

JEE Main Result 2022 - Normalisation Process
Since the JEE Main exam is divided into two sessions, the difficulty level varies, and officials employ the normalisation method to deal with this. NTA's normalised JEE Main scores show the percentage of candidates whose scores are equal to or lower than the highest-scoring candidate in that session. The following is the formula for calculating NTA scores:

Formula - (100 x number of candidates who appeared in the session with a raw score equal to or less than the participant) / total number of applicants who appeared in that shift

Candidates should know that the normalised NTA score is not the same as the examination's percentage of marks.

JEE Main Result 2022 - Percentile Calculation
The National Testing Agency uses the normalisation formula to determine the JEE Main percentile for individual disciplines and the combined format for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Total Percentile (T1P): (100 x number of students from the session with raw score either equal to or less than T1 score) / Total number of students who appeared in the session
Mathematics Percentile (M1P) (100 x number of students who appeared from the session with raw score either equal to or less than M1 score in Mathematics) / Total number of students who appeared in the session
Physics Percentile (P1P) (100 x No. of students who appeared from the session with raw score either equal to or less than P1 score in Physics) / Total number of students who appeared in the session

JEE Main Result - Tie Breaking Rule
In the JEE Mains result, there are situations when two or more students receive identical NTA scores. As a result, NTA uses the tie-breaking criteria in the JEE Main result to provide a unique All India Rank. Refer to the priority-ordered list of subject scores that will be used to break ties in the NTA JEE Main result.
