Making Blink - 7 Great Tips To Create Hit Songs Like Blink 182

The wedding rings are on the fingers, the blessing speeches are done, and the cake is served - What after that? Yes, it's time to party! The dance party has to begin starting with the first dance of the bride and groom. At most of the receptions the DJ starts it core by playing romantic wedding music for the bride and groom and some all time favorite melody songs for the father-daughter and mother-son dances. And then, the rocking dance party begins.

The best songs have subjects that are easy to relate to. Your listener wants to have a personal experience when listening to your song. Create your songs about personal problems, life experiences, or anything else that seems to be common among the majority of people.

Learning how to play songs on the guitar is definitely fun and it's very practical too! It's not that hard either. Plus, songs can provide a great incentive for practicing, as well as give you a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction when you've finally mastered a particular tune you've been working on. Not to mention that songs will make you feel like a guitar player. They will also supply you with the experience and material to play in front of an audience or in a band.

Write from experience. Powerfully written songs usually come from experience and draws inspiration from the emotions that go along with those lyrics. If you want to learn some tips on writing songs, then you don't have to look anywhere else. Your experience can be a rich resource of great lyrics, thus draw inspiration from it.

The move of the Holy Spirit is not based on how many songs you have prepared or how long you'll stay in one song; it is dependent on how keen you are to listen to His voice and how sensitive you are to where He is leading you. Even if the Holy Spirit wants to say something, if your heart is not ready to receive, the message will not be passed on to His people. Worship is like a huge amount of water flowing through a tunnel, where the power and presence of God is the water and the tunnel is the worship leader. As the tunnel must be strong when the water passes through it so as the worship leader must be ready when the Holy Spirit pours out His presence during worship or else the tunnel will break down and the water will spill out everywhere.

For example, two songs that I find serve this purpose rather nicely are Good Riddance, by Green Day and Closer To Fine by the Indigo Girls. Both of these songs use the same basic chord structure and they also have a similar rhythm. They are fairly easy to play as well, so students tend to pick them up rather quickly. The benefits of learning these songs are many. Good Riddance teaches students how to isolate specific strings on the guitar while using a pick, which is an important technique to acquire. Closer To Fine, on the other hand, has a nice strumming pattern and is useful for developing such techniques as speed control, even tempo and smooth chord changes.

Overall, there was a lot of diversity between old and new artists in 2011. Many younger artists came out with a bang and topped the charts, but the classic singers had a solid presence too. Fun songs, sad songs, love songs... 2011 was a great year for country music! But isn't every year?
