A highly entertaining game with good replayability.

Pros:
Great graphics
Amazing animation quality (how enemies react to being hit and finally die)
Fun to replay and attempt to fulfill the in-game grinds (get 250 crotch shots, etc)
Challenging yet feasible (at least on the first few skill levels, haven't tried the hardest 2 yet)
Engaging story

Cons:
LOTS of cutscenes that you often can't skip because it's loading the next area
-->That's not a big problem the first playthrough, as you want to hear the story but when playing again you still have to watch half or more of most cut scenes before you can skip
Relatively short campaign - about 10-12 hours

Overall, though I would definitely recommend this game!. one of the greatest games i have ever played. the graphics have aged well and it really makes you feel like a bad\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665action movie guy! i would recommend this to anyone who wants hardcore action and violence in a game with a great story!. Great game and a great story. I'm repeating myself for the third time. Anyway, the only downsides are the achievements and the multiplayer of this game. The achievements are very grindy especially the multiplayer ones. One more thing. The multiplayer is made with a "console(PS3, XBOX) networking " in mind. This means, in this, the PC version of the game's multiplayer is very easy to cheat. This make the achievements grind even more frustrating.. Great game!!

I love the gameplay a lot and it constantly had me gripped. Cutscenes flowing into the gameplay is just superb, it keeps you hooked and just wanting to keep playing. Once you start playing from the cutscene, it's all go and non stop action with amazing shooting mechanics, cover system and of course, bullet time. Rockstar did a fantastic job at this.

The story is very good too, in my opinion. Yep, we all know it's a different setting from the first two games, but it has to be. Max is attempting a new start to try and escape his past for once. It's a dark, gritty story that is told really well and Max just can't stay away from massive amounts of trouble. Just because it's set in sunny Brazil doesn't mean it ain't a dark story.

A little negative would be if you want to explore an area a little bit to find clues and golden gun parts is that you may run into the way you are meant to go and it will trigger a cutscene and you generally can't go back, therefore you miss exploring that certain section until you play it again or if you restart the level. Very minor negative.

If you've played 1 & 2, do not miss out on this. A great way to finish an amazing series! 100% worth it and I recommend. Pick it up on a sale to make it even more sweeter.

7.5\/8 Painkillers!. In Mask Pain 4 you take the role of Harrison Ford, a 13 year old Malaysian nicotine addict, on his quest to overthrow the evil capitalist Bavarian government in the year 1396. It's a perfect blend of dark, gritty action and Seinfeldesque observational comedy. I love watching Ford struggle with his nicotine addiction, wich adds to the riveting plot. Not only is there the deep and experienced character of Harrison Ford, but he he is joined by a colorful cast of characters. For example, Clive, a fisher from New Hampshire, not to mention Hans, the gruff, bald, former Bavarian secret agent. One of the best characters in the game is the main antagonist, Benito Mussolini, roughly based on historical figure Charlemagne.

The story starts out when Harrison Ford is in a bank and some evil capitalists take all his money and make him homeless. From there he embarks on a gritty, hilarious romp through 14th century Bavaria, encountering multiple historical events along the way (example the Bavarian-American War of 1396.) Ford meets countless intriguing, well thought out side characters with extensive backstories during his journey. my favorite was definitely Whiterun Guard. Throughout the story you will have multiple opportunities for entertaining side missions. One time, I had to capture a bunch of greedy bankers and put them into a meat locker and watched them freeze to death. It was fun.

The majority of the game is set in Bavaria, but you do get to visit some other exotic locations (for example, the mystical marxist utopia of Oovoo Javer and also Greenland.) You also get to loot a wide variety of equipment, from chestplates to grills.

CONCLUSION
GOOD GAME 1\/10

. Cutscene-Shoot-Cutscene-Jump-Cutscene-Painkiller-Cutscene-Jump-Cutscene-Shoot-Cutscene-Cutscene-Painkiller-Cutscene-.... Shoot is great! Max is edgy and lame. Goofy lame Max Payne is best pain. Also Dead man walking being locked behind a pay wall in spite of the fact that Max Payne 1 and 2 had dead man walking by default, that\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665still sucks along with multiplayer.

-Max Payne as portrayed by Rockstar.. good game, Rockstar need to make a new one. Max Payne 3 starts off like any other third person shooter from it's time, solid gameplay and a constant stream of enemies make it hard not to stay engaged. Quickly Max Payne 3 shows you that it has more to offer than just combat and gore however as the dialogue, presentation, and general mood of the game have an exceptionally entertaining detective-noire feel to them. The story begins incidental but starts to unwind before you in a way that has definitely been done before but remained entertaining if not somewhat surprising throughout.

If you're a fan of the third person shooter genre and you enjoy the idea of playing a washed up ex-cop down on his luck and out of his comfort zone - check out Max Payne 3.
