They don't care about the game and are never updating it waste of money.. In short - for now I would recommend this game if you like NASCAR and/or enjoyed the previous two NASCAR games by Monster.

NASCAR Heat 3 has enough small improvements, that you might even miss at first glance, to make it worthwhile and on top of that there is dirt racing (lot of fun, please release more tracks and/or cars etc - go DLC on this part!!).

The LOD is still mediocre though and the game has a serious lack of pc worthy graphics settings.. There's definitley room for improvement. However, it's undeniable that there are many improvements. The dirt series, return of rivals, and storylines are steps in the right direction. However, I feel that expansion into more NASCAR series may be better, and that online be fixed, namely race ruining netcode. All in all, a pretty good game.. Only raced 2 races in career mode in dirt and love the game.. My first Steam review. Primarily due to my annoyance with this game.

I want to give this game a recommendation. I really do. I use an old Fanatec CSR wheel/pedals/shifter setup. Works marvelously in any other game I've played and appears to work fine in this game. I've got hundreds of hours behind the Forza franchise and DiRT titles using this wheel. It took forever to get everything properly setup in game, but that's par for the course with using a wheel and not necessarily a negative for the game itself.

I was able to play a few dirt tracks in the career mode. The game forces you into starting with dirt cars, which I suppose makes some sense, but took me out of it. If I wanted to play in the dirt, I'd play DiRT. I want to pretend to be a Nascar driver. Let me do that, game.

The game allows you to "sim" the race, which has the AI figure out how well you might have done. You always finish near the back of the pack. Before I could complete my "dirt career" in the game and progress to trucks, I got a CTD. And then proceeded to get a CTD each time I opened Career mode. Amazing.

I've put in a Steam refund request. Maybe I'm being overly critical, but I am fairly annoyed with the experience.. I was iffy due to the mixed reviews but this is amazing. raise hell praise dale ♥♥♥♥ danica patrick 'merica god bless y'all have fun highly recommended. This is one of my favorite NASCAR games I have played yet. I love having the option to fine tune the AI difficulty and the career mode is absolutely addicting. Starting off in the dirt series is awesome. I have noticed a lot of people complaining about their wheels not working but I have a Logitech G920 wheel with FF and it works wonderfully. Online multiplayer is pretty dead though.

If you are a fan of NASCAR and want a solid racing game, I can't recommend this game enough. The graphics may not be on par with current AAA titles but they are solid. Audio may sound a little weird at times but it doesn't really bother me. Most of the time, I am so enticed with the race and focused on hitting my marks that I don't even notice it.

9.5\10. This isn't an iRacing type of sim racer.
So beware if you only accept sim turn lefters.
Compared to NH2, i don't see any "significantly big" improvements.

AI behavior is defo improved. Not a bumper cars madness at all, you just keep your line and you'll be fine.
Physics improved. You can feel the weight of the car during race. But crash physics is still terrible. I see my car goes spin around and around and around or fly high in the air.
And Dirt Late Model series. Yay! A Dirt to Daytona vibe for old fans. Honestly, dirt physics is way better than other three series. It feels like driving on real dirt in my opinion. And AI in Dirt is also good that they can outrace you.
Career is deeper than NH2 you can now own a team and spend money or just join an exsisting ones.
Soundtrack is so damn good. Developers have great music tastes.

But i expected some major improvements like graphics and such. Yeah, a huge disappointment. It uses the same Unity engine there's just some lighting improvements. Overall it still looks like a PS3 game. This company seriously need to change graphics engine.
And no DNF. I mean, how can we race after a big crash? Oh in NH3 we can. There is no DNF so how can we quit race after a crash? You just go pit and it's all fine. What a dumb thing it is.
And you know what? Dirt late model engine sound is brutal. It's a V8 porn. But NASCAR engine sound is terrible. Still the vacuum cleaner engine.

I liked NH2 it was bad at first but after some updates it became "playable". NH3 is slightly better than NH2. Improved AI, dirt physics and so on. But we need someting big. It's time for a big change. I'm not talking about adding new series. I'm talking about new features that real race have, and visual upgrade. I already played over 200hrs with NH2 and i spent $50 for NH3 but kinda bummer there's no difference in terms of graphics. It's not a terrible game it's really fun to play but i played NH2 so NH3 just feels like a season update of NH2.

Despite my complaints, i'll leave it recommended cause it's still a fun game anyway.
