Both games draw inspiration from the fantasy world of RuneScape, Gielinor. They will draw on OSRS Gold those characters, adventure, and locations of the MMORPG has made famous over its long history. While the TTRPG will be composed of an attractively illustrated core guide that will contain all the information required by players who want to run a RuneScape TTRPG. Players can create their own characters and head off on a journey into the world of Gielinor to embark on "unique and thrilling quests". Furthermore, the TTRPG core book comes "fully compatible with the ruleset of the fifth edition of the world's favorite tabletop role-playing game".

The new project will be the first time RuneScape will be accessible outside of a digital platform and this is something Jagex President Phil Mansell is excited about:
