Prison officials told the government the importance of using jammers

Australia's planned use of cell phone jammer has entered a new phase and the country's communications regulator will discuss the proposal with nearby telecommunications providers. The New South Wales Department of Corrections is trying to test a technology that will prevent inmates from illegally using cell phones.

In response to the threat of illegal cell phone use in prisons, Indian prison authorities announced that they are investigating effective means or technology such as jammers for GPS.

Mr. Mehra said that when testing the India Electronics Co., Ltd. It was found that the cell phone signal in the prison was not effectively shielded, particularly the cell phone signal from Jio 4G.
Prison authorities told the Delhi High Court on Tuesday that their technology was unable to block cellular signals, particularly from Jio 4G, and asked the state-run C-DOT to develop a prototype jammer to prevent illegal communications.

In preparation for this edition of the electronic messaging, Texas politicians and prison officials are attempting to resolve prisoners' plight in intercepting illegal calls without violating the Federal Act of 1934 Prohibiting Radio Signal Interference. Earlier this year, South Carolina officials successfully tested the cell phone jammer. The jammer apparently blocked all cell phone communications inside the prison walls and would not interfere with nearby cell phone communications or other electronic devices. Texas officials initially hoped to conduct a similar test on Thursday, December 18.

The miniaturization of telephone communications may be convenient for the general public, but it is a nightmare for prison officials. These little devices are easy to smuggle in and also allow criminals to perform poison loops or other nasty activities out of their cells. In one particularly serious incident, Texas lawmakers received a threatening appeal from death row inmates. As expected, he now insists on using a GPS jammer.
