Recently, I got 70 mage on the pure. It's fantastic because I can get people to stop. Also, I scare people to death. It's a safety net. When someone is able to OSRS Accounts pull out a Gmaul I freeze them and continue bombarding them with projectiles of various types. But, pking with just magic is a nightmare, slow cast speed, expensive cost, rangers that rip you apart and everyone my level is wearing full dhide therefore in this psot, I'll discuss the issues magic has and how to improve it.

Costs: The cost of running spells is high in comparison to what they cost anyway. To get an advantage or "blunt advantage" during battle, you must use multiple spells. It's even more difficult. A tatic called "stacking" is where you use various ancinet spells to pile damage on the opponenent, this works because of different speeds for the spells. If I want to use the combination of sand and blood-ice, I will require four runes. I'll need about 50 projectiles or spells to create one list of food items. I'll be using 30 of each spell. That's 50k.

Dragonhide - D'hide can be very cheap and has excellent armor. It requires a moderate range level but a full set of that instantly halves the chance of succsefully casting, note I won't hit a zero, allowing my spell effect to stil lhit, it stops completely.

Ranger and Warrior attacks can't "fail" therefore there are stunning and shenanigans even if you do not take damage. Although I understand the dangers of magic, defence must stop damage from happening and not break spells. The magic-defence system is flawed, and I will lexplain it in my next post.

Most people already are aware that mage defense is 70% magic level, and 30% defense level. Now this is very bad for mages, especially any foolish pures. My opponent has 1 defense, but 50 magic, without ever gaining any combat levels, he already has defenmce agaisnt me. Now in RS classic magic added to combat levels, which means you have low mage defence or unused combat levels. Now everyone seems to Buy OSRS Gold have high mage defence without gaining and combat level. In spite of wearing the black dragon hide chaps in one defense, a 1 def pure can defend against my attacks, as his range and mellee attacks smack me as if I had no defence.
