A safer and reliable working is the dream of every project and should also be established by each & every departmental operations regarding the safe working of suspended platforms. With different safety parameters, it is a good practice for you to get endorsed by different project engineers, related- personnel at the jobsite and for the building management as well. It is better to have a distributed working for the safer working environment.

For performing safe & effective operations for tower maintenance platform, the task need to be monitored & supervised by any competent individual to make sure that any issues pertaining to it, will not possess any risk to people around working platform or inside it.

Safety rules regarding the operator

  • While working with the tower maintenance platform, the operator and every other individual who is present on the platform need to be 18 years& above with no phobia of heights as well as fit & agile.
  • Well trained & should be having certificate of training.
  • Authorized by controlling officer for the operations
  • Also, this needs to be recognized by suspended platform manufacturer or any 3rd party inspection team in regards to safety & security of individuals.
  • Individuals must have safety helmetsand belts on while working with independent self-locking buckle should be fastened & fixed on the supporting rope.
  • Operator while working with the temporary Gondolas or any other similar platform then the shoe they wear must not be made up of hard plastic or hard sole with similar ones like slippers, footwear of slippery nature.
  • In the range of suspension platform, the use of ladder, bench or wooden stool should be prohibited.
