The game was not perfect at the time of launch

While some of these new additions are welcomed within the series however, others (such such as Home Field Advantage) feel to be long overdue. Meanwhile, others (like new Superstar XFactors) build on what's already out there. However, overall there's no discernible difference from the previous year's edition.

The game was not perfect at the time of launch. There were numerous bugs and didn't pay attention to small details. One example of this was the video that showed Miami Dolphins QB TuaTagovailoa throwing a football using his right hand, even though he is one of only a handful of left-handed QBs.

Overcoming all of these glitches and bugs and other issues, the new options in Madden 22 are exciting but don't significantly enhance the game's core gameplay Madden. The feeling EA has tried to create by using many of these Home Field Advantages is fantastic, however simple issues like fans who are in the crowd sporting different jerseys from the ones they're holding make it difficult to enjoy the overall immersion of the football simulator.

It's still the same like Madden in that you are able to drop back into the pocket , with top QBs like Rodgers or Mahomes, and some of EA Sports' Superstar X-Factors assist in making the game more fluid. The game does feel more energetic than previous years in particular on the defensive side of the ball with a greater emphasis on stick-based defense.Madden 22's majority of modes suffer from the same issues as previously. In some cases, the game has actually regressed.

Madden is taking a step back from their storytelling experiences, despite other titles like NBA 2K or MLB The Show which ask you to tell a completely different story every year. In the past, we'd grind through a few High School games, and later play a few games in the NCAA Playoffs, and this was fun because we weren't guaranteed to be a top pick in the draft.
