Can questions and codes be combined? Folks already place their codes from the questions thread despite the rules anyway. Or create the codes ribbon its daily/weekly scheduled post together with the Animal Crossing Items other ones and keep the questions thread. I think those threads are nice and all, but the simple fact that they take precedence over important news or events is bizarre.

I mean it's your choice. Do you want more rules and to need to monitor the subreddit more? Or do you need to leave it as is and continue to threat the hostility in the comments on the more contentious posts like the memorial + edited pics articles, which would likewise need to be tracked more?

Or do you need users to have the expectation that everything they need can be found in certain threads on a certain schedule? I think it works out nicely for another subreddits that do it. And frankly, to me, setting up automod to run the threads then simply monitoring the decrease volume of posts seems like less work.

Despite the fluffy nature of this sport, this community can be incredibly rabid when something that they do not like gets published. I report those things as I view them, but I see the poisonous posters continue to post here and wonder if it even does any good. Like I reported somebody who had been all over a thread telling people to eff off and things a couple weeks back and they had been posting the next day just like nothing had happened. You can not ever make those sorts of people/situations move away, but you can try to lessen the possibility of these happening by structuring things and rules around them clearly.

The other solution is a broader flair approach, but people browsing reddit via specific means do not even see dash unless they expressly allow it so you'd need to accept that was faulty from the get-go.

Finally I do not think any specific subjects or articles within this sub need to be prohibited. I think they will need to be ordered in a way that users who don't need to see them can choose to filter them out or ignore them.

I feel like combining codes and questions could be a little bit of a mess, personally. If you do see codes from the questions thread they can be reported and we could clean them up when we view it. Also, as for buy Animal Crossing Bells information events, we do sticky Update Megathreads when they come about. Can there possibly be more like pre-update stickies/update statements? I believe so. But honestly, I'd personally like to free a sticky slot eventually.
