Almost two weeks ago, a new trailer for the highly anticipated blockbuster Transformers, the awakening of the beasts (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) was released, which showed the first meeting between the Autobots of Optimus Prime and the Maximals led by Optimus Primal. The clip gave a more detailed look at Primal, Cheetor and Rhinox, three of the most beloved characters from the '80s franchise.

Although some first glimpses of Unicron were given in Transformers: The Last Knight, the new film delves into this character, who is an ancient devourer of planets led by his herald Scourge. In addition to iconic franchise characters like Optimus and Bumblebee returning this summer, the next installment will also introduce a bevy of new Autobots joining the fight against Scourge and the Terrorcons.

The story will follow Noah Diaz (Ramos), a skilled ex-military man who is doing everything possible to keep his family safe. Diaz will see his life change forever when he crosses paths with the Autobots, joining them on an adventure that will take him around the world. Elena Wallace (Fishback), an artifact researcher at a museum, will join the mission and will need her extensive knowledge of human history to find a device of great importance to the giant robots.
