In addition to the 180 mg vial, it is also available in single-dose trodelvy 200 mg vials for reconstitution. Both the initial and subsequent infusions are given by venous drip. The patient must be monitored for any post-infusion changes throughout and for at least 30 minutes after the infusion. Trodelvy is injected for 1-2 hours at each subsequent infusion following the initial 3 hour infusion. Trodelvy has been linked to infusion-related symptoms such as nausea (a feeling of being sick) and vomiting. If the patient reacts to the infusion, the physician or another medical expert may stop or lower the infusion. In severe cases, treatment should be postponed or halted.
