Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

MSMEs can self-certify their existence, bank account information, promoter/Aadhaar owner information, and other key details using UAM, a one-page udyam registration form. The Udyog Aadhaar Acknowledgement, which will be sent to the email address provided in the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum, will include the unique Udyog Aadhaar Number (UAN).

Existing businesses that have filed an Entrepreneurship Memorandum-I, Entrepreneurship Memorandum-II, or both, or who have a Small Scale Industry registration prior to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (27 of 2006), are not required to file a Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum but can do so if they wish. Filing several Udyog Aadhaar Memorandums with the same Aadhaar Number is permitted.

The Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum is filed as a self-declaration, which means there are no supporting documents to upload or email while filling out the form. If documentary evidence of the information provided in the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum is necessary, the Central Government or the State Government, or any other person authorized in this regard, may provide it.
Using the Internet to complete the Udyog Aadhaar Form:

Aadhaar Number- Aadhaar number with 12 digits Fill in the Aadhaar number of the applicant in the appropriate field.

Owner's Name- The applicant must fill in his or her name exactly as it appears on his or her UIDAI-issued Aadhaar Card.

Follow these procedures to verify your Aadhar card:

Validate Aadhar- The applicant's Aadhaar will be confirmed after selecting the Validate Aadhaar button, and only the user will be able to continue filling out the form.

Social Classification- The applicant might choose his or her social category (General, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Castes) (OBC). The relevant authorities may request proof of SC, ST, or OBC status if and when necessary.

Name of the Company- The Applicant must state the name by which his or her company is known to clients and the general public, as well as whether it is a legal entity with which to conduct business. A single applicant can have many enterprises, each with its own Udyog Aadhaar number but the same Aadhaar number as Enterprise 1 and Enterprise 2, and so on.

Organizational Type- From the options shown, the Applicant can select the appropriate organizational structure for his or her company. The Applicant must certify that he or she has received authorization from the appropriate legal authority to complete this online form (i.e. the company that has registered for Udyog Aadhaar). Each company will be assigned a single Udyog Aadhaar number.

Postal Address- In the appropriate part, the Applicant should submit the Enterprise's complete postal address, including state, district, pin code, phone number, and email address.

Commencement Date- Fill in the relevant field with the date the business entity first started operating.

Previous registration information (if any)- If the Applicant's enterprise has already been awarded a valid EM-I/II by the concerned GM (DIC) in compliance with the MSMED Act 2006 or the SSI registration that existed prior to the said Act, such number may be mentioned in the appropriate location.

A number of Bank accounts- The Applicant must enter his or her bank account number utilized to conduct the business in the appropriate field.

The application must also submit the IFSCCode of the bank branch where the applicant's account is held. On the bank's checkbooks, the IFSccode is now printed. If the Applicant knows the name of the bank and the branch where his or her account is located, the IFSC code can be found on the bank's website.

Major Activity- For Udyog Aadhaar, the corporation can select either "Manufacturing" or "Service" as its principal activity. Choose "Manufacturing" as your principal activity type if your company undertakes both types of work and the majority of it is in the manufacturing sector with a small amount in the service sector. Choose "Services" if the majority of your work is in the service sector with a small amount in manufacturing.

National Industry Classification Code (NIC Code)- The Applicant may choose from a number of National Industrial Classification-2008 (NIC) Codes to include all of their operations. The user can select additional NIC codes from the Manufacturing and Service sectors by using the "Add More" option. If you want to add Manufacturing, pick the "Manufacturing" radio button and continue adding by clicking the "Add More" button; if you want to add Service, select the "Services" radio button and continue adding by clicking the "Add More" button. The NIC codes are created by the Central Statistical Organisation (CSO), which is part of India's Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.

Employed person- List the total number of people who are directly paid by the company in the relevant section.

Investing in Plant and Machinery/Equipment- For the purpose of determining the overall investment, the initial investment (buy price of products) must be taken into account, omitting the costs of pollution control, research and development, industrial safety equipment, and any other things indicated by RBI announcement.

DIC- The Applicant must fill in the DIC's location based on the Enterprise's location. If the district has multiple DICs, this column will only be active and provide one option. In fact, if your district only has one DIC, it will enroll you immediately.

Submit- The applicant must click the Submit button to generate an acknowledgment number.
