What is OSHA Regulations? OSHA Regulations and Standards

OSHA regulations are rules that describe the methods employers are legally required to follow to protect their workers from hazards.
OSHA was established to assure safe and healthful conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and providing training, outreach, education, and compliance assistance. Under the OSHA law, employers are responsible for providing a safe and healthful workplace for their workers. As per OSHA standards, employers have the responsibility to provide a safe workplace that does not have serious hazards and are mandated to follow all OSHA safety and health standards.
