Not all addiction recovery centers have the team to provide the help that you can receive at a subacute rehab facility, though. Consider Experience
How long has the Arizona rehab facility been around? It’s not enough to find a center that’s been around for years. You need to learn more about the kind of rehab experience that it has. Does the facility treat patients with your condition? How long has it been since they started? Don’t forget to check on the experience and training of the staff. What’s their medical background? Is the treatment licensed for use?
Determine Ratio of the Staff and Patients
If you need residential care and you’re thinking about enrolling in the facility’s inpatient program, make sure you look at the ratio of the staff and patients. A staff member should handle no more than three to four patients at a facility. Sometimes that number is stretched to six. But having more than ten patients per staff member isn’t ideal. That means you might not receive the proper amount of attention and care during your stay at the center. Talk to the facility about that. While the number of patients assigned to a staff isn’t universal, some facilities might provide additional support or help. Check the Treatment Available

They can prevent the symptoms from getting worse and even administer medication to make the experience less uncomfortable for you.
• Inpatient care. Not all facilities have the room and team to provide residential care. Look for that option before you pick a facility if that’s the treatment you need.
• Outpatient care. Ask about the treatment plan. Do they offer personalized treatment?
• Aftercare services. Many patients relapse after rehab. A strong aftercare program, though, provides the guidance and support patients need to overcome hurdles and remain sober.
Observe the Staff
How does the staff treat the patients? Are they approachable and friendly? Do they have what it takes to take care of the patients? Also, does the staff provide a supportive environment for recovery? Do you think you’ll thrive in the facility’s treatment settings? Pay a visit to the rehab facility if possible. If traveling isn’t ideal right now, ask if they offer online sessions for therapy and addiction recovery.
