‘A practice which is around thousand years old and known for identifying our inner-self’ would be the right description for meditation. It was used in old times to understand the sacred forces of the universe. With time it has evolved and been used for peace of mind and a healthy body.
While one is meditating, they put all their focus and attention into one thing and it helps relax their mind and body. The storm of thoughts flooding the mind gets eliminated during this process.
