Every winter, I feel like it has gotten colder than the year before. Maybe it is since every year, I age and my metabolic process slows down. This year, I decided to figure out how to remain warm in bed. My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't wish to alter blankets so I chose to attempt other methods. Here is what I attempted and what appeared to work for me.
Warmer pajamas: I am used to wearing shorts and a t-shirt to bed. Or, sometimes, I'll wear a sexy camisole for my partner and I to enjoy. This winter season, I tried wearing long sleeve pajamas. I actually attempted various kinds. First, I attempted the flannel pajamas. They were incredibly warm and I felt great all heating pad night. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket against my body - something that I actually enjoy. Likewise, I didn't feel as appealing going to bed, something that I like to feel too, specifically with my spouse sleeping next to me. Next, I tried wearing these silk pajamas. They absolutely felt soft to the touch, but weren't as warm as the flannel. It still worked much better than a camisole or shorts and a tee shirt.
Heated blanket: Although I enjoy my blankets, I chose to add a heated blanket beneath them simply for my body. The heated blanket worked too well.
Cashmere bed socks: This was another option advised to me by a buddy. At first, when she discussed it, I had no idea what cashmere bed socks were. I found out that they are specific socks that you can buy to wear to bed. Of course, you do not need to buy these socks and you can constantly just use any set of cotton socks to bed, but these are made particularly to keep your feet warm all night. I actually tried wearing these with my shorts and tee shirt and found that it made a huge difference in how warm I felt. Remarkably, these worked really well and I didn't have to fear a fire or change what I generally wore. Naturally wearing socks to bed felt a little foreign to me at first, but eventually I got utilized to it.
My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't want to change blankets so I decided to attempt other methods. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket against my body - something that I truly take pleasure in. Heated blanket: Although I love my blankets, I chose to include a heated blanket underneath them just for my body. The heated blanket worked too well. I'm keeping the blanket, however am not going to utilize it to go to sleep.
