Let’s say you don’t care much for technology and have never learned to use it - and you’ve been using something from the 1980’s which kind of approaches what ERP is, not that you’d know the difference, and your business isn’t growing, you’re pretty much just trying to stay the same - so cutting costs is better for you than increased efficiencies - mainly because you can’t report on efficiency due to using old software (circular reference I know). So for you, whatever is priced at $20k is fine. Even running a six figure annual revenue business.

The main point is, there are many different ERP products and all price points in all industries - and for the particular company - the ‘best’ will be different than the ‘best’ somewhere else.
