Pelling is a beautiful hill town in the district of West Sikkim, India. Pelling is nestled at an altitude of 2,150 m (7,200 feet). The town is located at a distance of 10 km from the district headquarters of Geyzing and 131 km from capital Gangtok. It was a small village till 20 years ago with beautiful views of the Kanchenjunga Range and some very beautiful lakes and waterfalls, but with the influx of tourists, the region has undergone metamorphosis, with the roads being repaired and hotels being set up, and now is a thriving tourist town with all modern facilities.
