SD-WAN has 10 technical requirements set out by a community called the "Open Network User Group" that promotes network openness. Specifically, it is as follows.

2) CPE can be provided virtually on the commodity HW (
3) Traffic can be dynamically controlled based on policies such as applications (
4) Individual applications for security, corporate governance, and compliance On the other hand, visualization, prioritization, and steering are
possible. ⑤ Availability and flexible hybrid WAN can be configured.
⑥ Supports L2 / L3 that can be directly interconnected with switches and routers.
⑦ Locations, applications, VPN quality
You can report on the dashboard at the level such as ⑧ It has an open northbound API, you can access and control the controller
⑨ It supports zero touch provisioning
⑩ FIPS-140-2 has been acquired
