Almost every kid enjoys the craft activities, but stocking up on art and craft kits materials can sometimes be costly. But with a bit of idea and imagination, you can use unused things in your home to create things for your kids. In the recent few years, kids' craft boxes have gained so much popularity among children of different age groups, teachers, and parents. Following are some of the few inspiring suggestions that will encourage your kids to perform such activities daily:

Robot Making

Constructing a robot with the material available in the house is quite an innovative idea, and it will not even cost you anything. You need to do some prior planning and collect the material such as tin foil, toilet rolls, cereal packets, and any other item that you think is necessary for making a good robot.

As a parent, you need to think like your kid when working with them to make a robot. You can help them to tape toilet rolls to a box for making the robot's body, and then let them glue the buttons for making the controls and eyes. Older children can manage with or little no help.

If you got some poster paints, then you can let your children paint their robot after its construction. You can mix a PVA glue with the color so that it can stick adequately with the robots' body.

Mask Making

It is one of the greatest kid's craft ideas, which will let your kid utilize their imaginative power to the fullest. They can use hand-made creative masks in role-playing games afterward. You can use foam, and old paper or cereal box to make an original costume. Use buttons, pens, feathers, paints, etc. that your children like. You and your children can make superheroes masks, animals mask, storybook characters masks, etc.

Making Dairy or Story Book

For making a storybook or diary, you will require a notebook, drawing pad, or you can make your own by sewing or stapling a bundle of paper sheets together. Once the necessary material is ready for the book, help your child in creating a fantastic story. This can be pictures, written, or a combination of both. Kids can use that book to document any event such as their birthday party, school functions, or camping trips, or can also write about their hobbies.

They can take photos and print them out to post in the storybook. For example, if they are making a story about their summer holidays trip, then they can take photos of the destinations they visit and paste the printouts of the pictures in their storybook. It will be a reminder of their good old days when they grew up.
