They were one of the biggest rock bands of the nineties, and a leading name in the growing pop-punk movement. The line-up may have changed over the years, since they first formed in California in 1992, but Blink 182 are still going strong.

Initially, the band was comprised of co-lead singers Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge, and drummer Scott Raynor. Down the years, DeLonge quit, to be replaced by Matt Skiba, while Raynor was fired in 1998, and Travis Barker became their new drummer. Leaving lead singer Mark Hoppus the only original and most consistent band member.

Blink 182 were known for being punk pioneers, renowned for their anarchic sense of humour. However, in recent times, the band’s health problems have almost overshadowed their music and become more prominent. Fans are understandably concerned about the condition of frontman Mark Hoppus; currently undergoing chemotherapy for cancer and providing constant updates on his condition. Fortunately, he recently announced his health was improving and he was feeling better, but he is taking it day by day.

At the same time, another member of Blink 182 has also gone through his own health problems, both physical and emotional, but has turned his life around, thanks in part to CBD.

In actual fact, drummer Travis Barker has become such an advocate of cannabinoids, he is even bringing out his own line of CBD-sourced products, designed to help people maintain good health, sleep better and aid with rehab and recovery. All areas which Barker himself has personal experience.

Travis Barker has spoken of how he would take CBD when he got off stage to help him relax and unwind. It has also assisted with recovery, restlessness, and sleep problems.

The musician also credits CBD with helping him overcome a fear of flying he developed after surviving a terrible plane crash in 2008. He had not boarded a plane since, choosing to travel by bus, car, or boat while touring. However, due to the therapeutic properties of CBD, and the great progress he has made, he is now considering getting on an aeroplane again for the first time in 13 years.

The rock star has witnessed first-hand how taking CBD can change your life. It has helped him deal with recovery, battle insomnia, and possibly beat his fear of flying, alongside other benefits. The sky is literally the limit.
