The romance genre has taken over the streaming platform in recent years, with shows like Virgin River and Bridgerton rising through the ranks of popularity, and movies like The Kissing Booth and 365 Days gaining massive fans.

The next film in the series, After 3 Lost Souls, is slated for a 2021 release. While the film would certainly heat up our summer nights, we recently received confirmation that it will unfortunately not hit Netflix in August.

The streaming service shared its list of new releases for August, and After 3 Lost Souls is notably absent. Fans of the romance genre should be happy to know, however, that Kissing Booth 3 will be debuting on August 11. Another release that could be up your alley is from Him All That starring Addison Rae, which will hit Netflix on August 27. of August.

When is After 3 Lost Souls coming to Netflix?
So we know After 3 Lost Souls won't be heading to Netflix in August, so when is it? Well, we don't have that exact date, but we do have a time frame. The theatrical release in the United States is scheduled for September 30, 2021. We expect the third film in the series to hit Netflix in late November or early December 2021. This has not been confirmed, but After We Collided it was released on Netflix about two months after its theatrical release. We assume that After 3 Lost Souls could follow a similar pattern.

Are Hardin and Tessa back together in After 3 Lost Souls?
In the book, Tessa and Hardin continue their will-they-not-they romance with multiple breakups and makeups throughout the pages. However, true to the previous novels, the book ends in another suspense.

After traveling to London together for Hardin's mother's wedding, the two discover some dark secrets about their past. It turns out that Tessa's boss, Christian Vance, is actually Hardin's biological father and is having one last affair before the wedding. At this point, the unfortunate couple are still together, although the ground is very shaky.

Things are even more complicated because Vance is the best friend of Hardin's adoptive father, and Tessa's good friend / boss, Kimberly, is also getting married to him. Considering that Hardin is known to have self-destructive streaks and has yet to factor in his past (especially his father), it seems that After fans might need to brace for trouble in paradise.

There are also some cast changes that viewers should look forward to in the next movie. Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) will take over from Landon Gibson, Tessa's best friend and Hardin's stepbrother. Meanwhile, Arielle Kebbel (Ballers), Stephen Moyer (The Gifted, True Blood), Mira Sorvino (Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion) and Frances Turner (The Man in the High Castle) will take on the roles of Kimberly (originally played by Candace.
