1. Understanding the theory of diving

As soon as you enroll in a diving course, you are provided with DVDs and literature, to give you a brief about diving. You can learn it online as well as in the classroom. When you do it online, you will get online study material. This learning material contains information about the effects of diving on the body, diving techniques, and diving safety.

Not only the practice but, you also get to know about the selection of diving equipment and their maintenance.

After the completion of your course, there’s a test drive. Clearing that test results in stepping on the next step.

2. Training in confined waters

Once you are done with the theory part and all the strategies, you are welcomed to the real world of diving! You are made to dive underwater, in confined water, or say a swimming pool. It could also include calm beaches. Initially, you dive into a limited heightened pool, where you can easily stand.

Gradually after the training, you gain the confidence of staying underwater. Then, venturing into deeper confined water is not a difficult task for you.

Once you start to feel comfortable underwater, you are ready to step up at the next step.
