The Valley of the Kings Egypt is one of the most famous places in the world to visit. Built on the site of an ancient Egyptian settlement, it is situated on the banks of the River Nile and offers a panoramic view of the majestic pyramids of Giza. The Valley of the Kings Egypt, also called the Valley of the Gates of the Kings is a large area where, for a considerable period of time, tombs of the pharaohs were excavated. At these tombs, priceless artifacts, including busts of the pharaohs themselves, were found. During the Middle Ages, the Valley of the Kings became a center of religious activity. One of the best tombs that can be visited in the Valley of the Kings is King Tutankhamen. He is believed to have been buried with his entire treasure in this tomb.
