Google and Samsung unified their wear operating systems (OS) to build a new wear OS 3. It has an improved battery life that can stand for up to two days. Now, the battery is enough to track day and night heart rate. Further, the double-tap (similar to Google pixel double-tap) button allows you to switch between the apps.

The primary purpose of Google and Samsung merging is to improve health services. James Park, CEO of Fitbit, announced that Fitbit would be enhancing the fitness tracking experience on the new Wear OS. Further, you can see heart rate data and Active Zone Minutes with the help of a snapshot.

Popular apps on Wear OS 3

As mentioned above, Google is already working on third-party tiles, and as a result, there will be a bunch of rebuilt apps like Strava, Sleep Cycle, Hole 19, Calm, and others.
