Passengers who have been in or transited through the below listed countries in the past 14 days are not permitted to enter or transit Dubai:

Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo (Congo – Brazzaville), Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe
The following passengers are exempt from the suspension and can travel to Dubai:

Employees of Official Missions between UAE and the aforesaid countries;
UAE nationals, 1st degree relative(s) and their domestic/house workers/helpers;
Members of the Diplomatic missions between UAE and the aforesaid countries;
Holders of a UAE Golden Visa.

Exempt passengers must follow the below rules:

UAE Nationals, 1st degree relative(s) and their domestic/house workers/helpers:

Must undergo COVID‑19 PCR test on arrival in Dubai;
Must remain in self quarantine until they receive the test result.
All other exempt passengers:

Must present a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted at an approved facility within 48 hours of departure. Validity must be calculated from the time the sample was collected;
Must present a negative COVID‑19 Rapid or Real Time PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted at the departure airport within 06 hours of departure;
Must undergo COVID‑19 PCR test on arrival and must remain in self quarantine until they receive the test result.
Only children under the age of 12 and passengers who have a moderate or severe disability are exempt from taking a COVID‑19 RT PCR test.

Requirements for all passengers arriving in Dubai

Passengers travelling to Dubai from all countries (GCC included) must have a negative COVID‑19 RT‑PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.

There are specific requirements for passengers travelling from the following countries. Please check before you travel: Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam and Zambia.

The certificate must be a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT PCR) test. Other test certificates including antibody tests, NHS COVID‑19 Test certificates, COVID‑19 Rapid PCR tests and home testing kits are not accepted in Dubai. Travellers must bring an official printed or digital certificate in English or Arabic to check in – SMS certificates are not accepted. COVID‑19 PCR certificates in other languages are acceptable if they can be validated at the originating station.

COVID‑19 RT PCR test certificates must be issued by an authorised facility in the passenger's departure country. Certificates that have already been presented for travel to another destination can't be used for re entry even if they are still within the validity period.
